Da-yao concert (24.1.07)

Sinye came by this afternoon as we've planned earlier, for the da-yao concert. We lepak at my place for a few hours and headed to Chou Yang pasar malam to take our "dinner". Stuffing ourselves with the Taiwan Fried Chicken, we were almost late for the concert. As it's estimated time to start was on 8pm, we reached the hall at about 8.15pm. Erm...as predicted, the thingy delayed due to some orang besar mia long speech.

So, at around 9pm finally there's some singing!

The concert start of with their theme song, "我有我自由", I-Freedom. Presented by 4 talented singers...with lup lup in it...haha~ Everything were going so perfectly until an idiot came out. This is one of the performer during yesterday night's show. Check out the video.

Overall, this concert is a success. The songs composed are great! But as for the singers, there's always room for improvement.

After the unconsiderate of the committee members to syok sendiri on stage, now's the 8tv SUPERSTAR contestant time to show off their skills. The host for this section will be Gary from 8tv. Now only I realised that Gary was also a graduate from UM.

The program finishes by 11somthing...as usual went mamak-ing~ BB fetch Sinye home and we almost lost our way due to her blurness...hehe...Sinye, next time must remember the landmark d so you can come find me anytime...hehehe~

The wonder of Maths

Have you ever wonder how to calculate simple multiplication question without using calculator??? Well, yesterday Yan taught me a wonderful stone age calculation method...hehe~

To calculate the following equation:

13 X 13 =???

Solution:

Therefore, the answer for 13 X 13 = 169

p/s: this method only works for integers. We are still finding a way to solve 100 X 100 using this method. Can anybody figure it out???

CNY mood

Chinese New Year is really around the corner. While crapping in my blog now I'm listening to my 'lauyah' radio as well. It's been so so long since I listen to a Chinese radio station. They are playing Chinese new year songs almost every minute!

Do you guys experience before sending greeting cards to your schoolmates and playing fire crackers by the roadside? yea...those were the days huh~ Chinese New Year back then was the only festive season we are looking forward to. ('cuz got alot of ang pows ma rite? hehe~) But kids nowadays doesn't really enjoy the festive mood like we do back in our younger days. Due to inflation things are getting quite erm...quiet. There's lesser people going out for visiting, lesser people giving out snail mail greeting cards, lesser people playing Chinese new year songs, lesser people playing firecrackers and even the ang pows also lesser in amount!!!

As for Kakilang, Chinese new year is the season of gambling! haha...

It has been a quiet week for my blog. Sorry people for not updating it lately.

Had kinda busy week. I'm so exhausted!

OOO...just to inform those in KL and Putrajaya area.
WEDNESDAY is a public holiday for THAIPUSAM.

My favourite McD's Big Breakfast! (especially the jam and bread!!!) This one I took it on a fine day where I woke up at approximately 10am one morning and feel like eating McD. I get to talked BB into bringing me there. We went sec14 McD at around 10.45pm to have our breakfast.

A crazy night

Had only 3 classes today. 2 in the day time and one at night.

After having my night class, me, Wei, Yan and Carrine went for pasar malam at OUG. Our plan work out as planned, we met CK there. The crowd of pasar malam were there as the weather was not bad.

We stopped by a restaurant to take our dinner. I've ordered asam laksa as the shop is famous for it's carry mee. How stupid I am! We were bubbling all the way when suddenly CK suggested we go Genting to try our luck. Initially everybody was quite stunned with the plan, all dunno wanna agree or not. But yea...CK managed to convinced every one of us~ So after dinner we went straight back to change.

We went up hill around 11 something in CK's MyVi. Our journey was great. Clear vision all the way.



When we were to reach the hill top the surrounding changed. Heavy mist were around us.




After almost 1 hour, we have reached our destination!!!
CASINO HERE WE COME.
Our Gambling queen n king already tak sabar-sabar wanna win some cash. But still they are always ready for the camera too.



We went for first world to see how's the condition first then headed for Monte Carlo.
CK can't find any ATM last night so he borrow he's model from us. After hours of hardworking (haha~), Carrine won RM80 (really gamble queen lar u!), I've won RM45 (but loose RM30 at first world casino later on...damn!), Yan being the first-timer doesn't win or looses anything (she's cool with that~). Unfortunately Wei and CK looses some cash. No worries ya, next time sure can win back the money wan! hehe~
It's was a really good experience.

We were planning to head back down around 3am. But the mist was really very very heavy. So we went back to first world and play till 5 something. Everyone were really drop dead tired by then. Especially CK, cuz he had to drive us down summor~
We reached PJ at around 6 something and went straight to bed!

Oh yea and almost forgotten, we've bumped into Pozan, ZenC and ChuanGuan, a few groups of UM friends in the casino. So Yan already self-declared it's GAMBLING DAY yesterday! haha~

First day of class!

After having a full 2 months of holidays, it's time to go back to my boring uni life. Today I had my first class at 9am. Woke up unwillingly at 7, went to uni at 8 this morning (cuz bb having his class at 8am). Starting my 4th semester with 'matematik kejuruteraan' isn't a good choice. Now only I realise that lecturers nowadays are so savvy with computers. We even have to discuss our tutorial time in online forums! After 2 hours of torturing, we finally free ourselves. Tan and Yan are having econ at 3pm, so they decided we do a lil bit of shopping~ hehe...yea...hopeless d lar us! First day of class already go shopping. Sunway pyramid was smaller than what I've imagine. But with nice deco lar. We hanged around for almost 4 hours. Yea, they skipped econ~ hehe...Bb too went with us.

After shopping, me and bb went home to clean our home sweet home. We exchanged rooms today.

After 3hours plus of cleaning, we had J.Co Donuts + Coffee for dinner. It's a wonderful treat I tell you. A must try thing! (although that's a long queue~)
