Have you ever seen fireworks on a rainy day?
The sky were pouring just now and these are some of the photos I took when the rain were getting smaller...

These fellas are really crazy. It's raining quite heavily and they still continue with their plan with the fireworks. You can even see the strong winds are blowing the sparks! Not to mention road users like us stopping by the roadside just to have a glimpse of it...hehe~

Crave for cakes

Laine blogged about this Nadeje new outlet in Dataran Pahlawan a few months ago.Since bb called me up for tea (cuz too bored at home till we need to find some entertainment >> eating!), I suggested Nadeje@Dataran Pahlawan. The atmosphere IN the shop were not bad, but location wise...erm...they can definitely find a better one. FYI, the shop is located at the 1st floor of Dataran Pahlawan. Where there were initially supposed to be a mini-lowyat..remember? The hand phone and computer shops were all closed down. The only two left on that floor were OLD TOWN CAFE and NADEJE!

Promotions!! That sounds nice. Buy any of the cakes and get a cup of coffee or tea (check it out the TEA is spelled as THE in the menu!) for only RM3.

Bb looking at the magazines.

They even have flower deco on the table...but...it's ARTIFICIAL! It reminds me of Tzu Chi but they have real ones there.

Here comes me tea..or tea set to be exact! So cute lar, they even have a hour glass for you to set a timing for the tea to be ready. They uses tea leaves instead of tea bags.

Wuu...here comes my cake! It's strawberry something...forgotten the name d...hehe~

Bb ordered original as usual. Taste?? As usual the Nadeje signature cake.

I'm pouring syrup into bb's iced coffee. Still taste bitter after adding syrup...

After almost a few minutes I'm ready to have my cup of tea!!!

A night in Malacca

Me, bb, Aho, ShiekThing, MeiSyn and CheongHong went for something we haven't tried doing together yesterday. For the first stop we went for karaoke session at the newly open KTV at The Jetty. Go Go KTV is situated along the half end of The Jetty. Remember not to walk all the end ya, cuz the have buggy driver to drive you all the way in!

There's a fantastic see view chill out place in the ktv! After checking in for RM18 for two hours, we went all the way in..it's kinda creapy along the way tho'.

We had the almost end room downstairs.

The room is so green as it turns all of us looks so greeny that evening!

See how much our entertainers pay attention to their songs.

Very nice view from this open air restaurant, but according to syn the drinks are really pricy!

After all those yelling and screaming in the karaoke room, we went out to have some fresh air before leaving. Although we can't really see the sun set, but the scenary was beautiful.

The guys...

And the girls...

Our next stop of the day was dinner! Cheong Hong drove us around town yesterday night with he's sis's MyV. After knowing him for almost 4 years this is the first time he fetches us! haha...gonna buy lottery d lar~ We went Yang Wei Siong for dinner as recommended by Syn. The stop is just beside Wing's Cafe. They have a traditional reflexlogy service there too~ I'm not gonna write much about it, just let the pictures do the talking! Here's Aho's soup...

Our drink >> blackcurrant, honey lemon and sour plum.

Shiek Thing had her food served first. She ordered a vegetarian rice. It really looks tempting and Aho's curi-ing some of it!

Mine came second, mayo chicken rice and it's spicy!

Now is Cheong Hong's turn to curi Aho's chicken. Forgotten what he ordered yesterday. As you noticed the shop doesn't serve other meat than chicken. Curious huh~

Okay, here's Syn's salad chicken. Something like my mayo chicken but spicy-less.

CheongHong's first plate, kong pao chicken rice.

After the first round, Aho and CheongHong decided to take a second round since they haven't take their lunch. Aho gazing at his Mongolian chicken.

And CheongHong with his orange lemon chicken. It just taste so...erm...citrus!

This place really reminds me of Tzu Chi and...forest?? Look, honey in a bee farm..haha!

Looks real?? It's actually a piece of art work in the restaurant.

We planned to take a ride up the Taming Sari Observing Tower, but it was kinda late. So we ended up having a boat ride along the Malacca River. It cost us RM5 per person for a 45 minutes ride. As a Malaccan it's a have-to-try thing lor, you'll get a glimpse of the side of Malacca that you don't see daily!

We started our journey from Mata Kuching to kampung morten.

Near the old bus station near Ocean.

Jambatan Pasar behind Kampung Jawa.

Behind the clock tower. Really nice view.

Behind Quay Side Cafe.

Harper's Cafe near Jonker.

After the boat ride, we went to the famous cendol stall nearby. Next stop?? yea..they ended up playing mahjong at my house till 3am!
