Shity stylist!

Yesterday Sis went for a hair cut at Backstage (opposite Seoul Garden at MP). It was a total disappointment!

For those who intend to step into that shop. Remember DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT leave your precious hair to THE particular hair stylist! He really sucks...(I guess there's 4 stylist there, the boss, quite tall without specs; a plumy girl, she's the only girl you can see there; a quite short specky guy/girl, I'm not sure about erm..his gender..; and the sucky guy, he was the one who cut my Sis's hair...NORMAL GUY'S HEIGHT, WITH SPECS, KIDDO LOOK!

Initially me and sis thought he was just a shampoo guy...summor ask us whether wanna add another RM5 for a better shampoo...shit him lar!

After blowing, and without asking for my sis opinion, he started cutting. Me and sis was like...OMG!!!

I stopped him and ask whether do he need to ask my sis what she wants. Then he was like..."I will just trim for you a bit."

What the hell..I'm paying RM30++ just for you to trim?!

My sis wanted a short bob cut. He agreed. But the end results really sucks! I wondered is he a qualified hair stylist? He asked my sis where does she part her fringe..but my sis had straight fringe WITHOUT parting all these while!

When he was half way through, I ask him again what style is he cutting. Since it doesn't look bob to me and bb.

He was so confident to tell us that he is cutting a short bob that my sis wanted. So we just shut out mouth and let him do his job.

Then the styling part comes. Haiz..The way he does it really not pro at all.

He was so ignorant. When we told him we are really not satisfied with it, he said that this is the style my sis wanted. And convince us to accept it!

Shit him lo...My sis hair was like a wig after wearing a helmet! So ugly! The cuts were really rough and her fringe...haiz...were really bad finished. (tantan...if you are reading this...it's even worst than your previous hair cut!)

After stepping out of the shop. Sis were really tired of looking at her sucky hair and refused to go to her gathering party straight after that. It was partly my fault. So we went back to complaint.

You should look at the boss face lo. He were so scared that we might complaint and make the matter worse or something.

It ended up the girl have to trim for my sis again. Well, since the shity guy had chopped off my sis hair so unevenly. All the girl can do is to trim it a bit to make it smooth.

Thanks to her. My sis's hair looks much more better now! Still sucks...but better~

ps: The girl and the boss is nice. But not the guy! Look out for him! Btw..thanks ya mong mong for waiting that day :)

Warehouse sales!

We were really crazy for warehouse sales last month.

First was the Padini warehouse sales at Glenmarie. It was quite disappointed as we went on the second day of the sales. There were plenty of clothes but only a few were nice. Well, the government said economy were bad these days but look at these people at the warehouse sales. They even need us to queue up to enter the compound to control the crowd! I've gotten myself a pink top for only RM6. Carrine's roomie bought a pair of canvas shoe for only RM9 on the first day, how lucky she is!

Then there was the RSH warehouse sales at Subang a week later. We didn't put much hope in this after the Padini warehouse sales. But to our surprised, there's no long queue just to enter, the warehouse were big, and most importantly, we've gotten what we want. I've bought a pair of IPanema slippers for only RM10 and Yan gotten herself a pair of Nose heels for only RM10 too. We went to Plaza Mont Kiara for the branded once straight after that, but it sucks. They only have a few saddening ladies clothes there. Great place for guy though. They have Authentic Quicksilver and Volcom tops for only RM39.90.

Mom came for check up on last Friday and yup, we went to another warehouse sales again at Damansara Jaya. Mom bought 5 pairs of sweat pants for only RM43 while me and mong mong bought these...

Top for only RM3, Deuter camera pouch for RM20, Simple stuffs for RM20.

I want candy!

Mom sent me a sms this morning that goes like this...

Pls pass it on (not official in malaysia but singapore has recalled these items) the following items have been recalled due 2 China’s M&M’s, Snickers, Mento’s Yoghurt Bottle, Dove Choc, Oreo Wafer Sticks, Monmilk, Dutchlady Sterilised Milk, Wall’s All Natural Mango, Mini Poppers Ice Cream, Magnum Ice Cream, Moo Sandwich Ice Cream, Mini Cornetto n Youcan Ice Cream. We’ve been asked by ava 2 remove them from our stores. If u hve any of these items in yr hse don’t eat them.

I'm sure many of you out there may have received the same message as well.

I was browsing through shoppingnsales and this came to me.

Singapore’s Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority a.k.a. ava only found 3 Products which contained Melamine, and not the above list.

Okey, we have been conned!

And FYI, our Favorite Sweet, the White Rabbit Sweet from China has now been officially banned in Malaysia. OMG man!!! Imagine how much we have eaten it during CNY. And the amount of Melamine that we have consumed in our body!!! OMG!

So sad lar. No more White Rabbit Sweet d.

Oh yea..the three products that were found containing melamine are “White Rabbit Creamy Candy”, “Yili Brand Choice Dairy Fruit Bar Yogurt” and “Dutch Lady” strawberry-flavored milk.

OMG again!! Dutch Lady milk...and strawberry summor. Curse those assholes who manufactured these products!

Here's some info on melamine...very scary...

So eat healthy and eat SAFE!

Another down!

Finally another paper down!

I'm eating Maggie now while blogging. Waiting eagerly for the next episode of MR. So pathetic hor~

Besides MR, I guess the hottest topic now would be the 16 Sep issue.

The detention of the three innocent people (FYI it's Raja Petra, Teresa Kok and a Sin Chew Jit Poh reporter) has made the nation wonder what is wrong with our ruling government today. For those who are still not sure what is happening now, please log on to MalaysiaKini webbie or MalaysiaToday. They have all the latest news there! I'm reading the news now too...hehe...

MR-addiction

It's worst than taking drugs!!!

Lately a lot of people had the MR-addiction. MR that is for Moonlight Resonance (家好月圆), the latest HK drama.

It's a MUST-discuss topic. See what I mean...

"Eh..watch d anot?? episode **..."

"Not yet lar...cannot download..."

"The ka mei damn bitch lar...and the hong yi also..." then tan tan will start scolding...

"fai di fai di...wanna go back and watch ka hou yuet yun d..."

It has become routine now. The first thing we do after dinner...downloading time!

Even now I'm listening to the song sang by Raymond Lam a.k.a. ah hou...mongmong keeps on repeating it over and over again!

Even sleeping, when you have nothing to think you'll recall back the scene. *That's addicted! I'm sure that's not only me lor...hehe...*

Well, the show really reflects our real life though. I believe that in this world, somewhere, there is a mom as caring as "Hor-ma", a dad as stupid as "Jo-ba", an aunt as annoying as "Sa-yi" and a stepmother as scary as "Hong-yi" lor.

The worst thing about watching this series is you have to WAIT! Since it's a new show, it is uploaded onto the net episode by episode.

So chialat right? Make us crave for it. And it's going to finish soon...until episode 41 only...sad hor. Hope that they will make another series as nice as this and Heart Of Greed.

Me and CK talked about this in class today. Since this is "家好月圆" in conjunction with the moon cake festival. Then the coming festive season will be CNY lor...hehe...maybe they'll come out with another series for that season...hehe..

Kla..Be sure to catch episode 33 tomorrow...tata!

Spiritual weekend...

Not many young generations nowadays practice the custom of Taoism. My family in the other hand is a strong believer.

In conjunction with the Monkey God birthday, the temple that my parents used to visit had a big procession.

According to my dad, the procession takes places whenever there is an order from the "boss" of the temple. In this case is the Monkey God. The last time the temple held such a big event was erm...10 years ago.

Well, FYI, the difference between Taoism and Buddhism is, for Taoism there's such thing as a medium a.k.a. "tang chi" in Hokkian. His or her duty is to borrow their body not soul to the god, as to help others in need.

Aiya...very hard to explain lar...go see for yourself if you are really curious...

The celebration starts on the night before the procession.

A lot of preparation were done the night before. Unlike for Wesak Day, Taoism procession needs a lot of rituals procedures and laws.

Dragon dance all the way from JB!

Big head wa wa. They are so damn cute! One even fell and pretended to be shy.

Time to change

Me blending in...kekeke~OMG my face is so oily!

The platform to place offerings

The Monkey God Statue

Sis with her horsies...hehe...with her favorite number 11 in front!

Nice butt ^^

We went back at almost 1am that night, and woke up as early as 6am the following day!

The temple had prepared some vegetarian food as breakfast that morning. Just to make sure that we don't faint!! **jk la...hehe~*

Again some customs rituals were done.

Dragon dance again

Due to keponess, me and mongmong each too a quick snap with the dragon's "head"...hehe~

"Activation time" haha...the temple committee members tied a red bow on top of the lion's head.

Big head wawa giving out sweets. These fellas are damn aggressive. They keep on bumping into each other.

Looks familiar? Yup, SFI band. Poor kids have to stay in the hot sun in their green uniform.

Lighting up the fire crackers

The descendants are suppose to shake the chariot with the god statue on it.
Wonder does the god gets dizzy?...

The chariot from far

Followers are suppose to go over the burned charcoal as a sign of "buang suey".

The procession route were long. Real long.

From the temple itself at Taman Melaka Baru, we took off by bus to the junction in front of Renaissance Hotel.

We started to walked all the way from the starting point...till end of Ujong Pasir. Where, mom, me, sis and mongmong can't stand it anymore~

Our first stop were the temple beside the Restaurant at Jalan Buanga Raya.

Second stop, behind Jonker Road.

Along the way we saw this. Proves that Malacca is really a historical city!
No matter where you go there's a historical site...hehe~

The newly renovated temple opposite Equatorial Hotel

Uncle-s everywhere!

Another ceremony at another temple

The spirit of the god went off half way through our journey. I can see from the looks that the guy were really suffering.

Luckily one of the medium went on jumping again when it almost reaches the stop before my house.

At my house, offerings were prepared for the incoming guests.

Mom preparing for the arrival of the guests

The descendants with cowboy hats performing the ceremony with the medium

The medium doing his thing in front of the chariot.

dong dong dong...the noise were loud!

Dad giving out sweets to the guests. I'm not really sure what it means...
but it does means something I guess.

There were a few more stop before they head back to the temple.

Mom and dad followed all the way but not for me, mongmong and sis. We already given up...hehe~

Mongmong even gotten sun burn after that. And me...well, I just got a little headache after that.
