Sis and I came across this at The Gardens that last week, it's a little art exhibition in conjunction with our Merdeka Day.

Check this out...quite true huh...and it rhymes!

This is a short comic drawn to describe how Malaysian categorize each other from races to religion even since primary school.

JJ and Rudy's Avril wannabe tour

Malacca was packed with people last Saturday. First it was MyFm giving out 8TV concert passes at Mahkota Parade. Tell ya, Malacca people are really "eng" wan lor...there is really a crowd there queuing up to get free tickets! I even saw siew ying there. She came back all the way from UTM just to get the passes.

Then just across the road hitz.fm were having "JJ and Rudy's Avril wannabe tour". That was what me and mongmong were there for...hehe...

The stage

Before the show

People were busy taking photos

The crew at the side of the stage doing live broadcast!

Since it's a Avril wannabe tour, you can see Avril wannabe-s walking around DP. I personally think that they are really brave lor. I wouldn't even dare to dress up like that in public.

JJ and Rudy goofing as usual on stage.

The whole hitz.fm announcers were here! (from left: JJ, Ian, Natalie, Rudy, Jin, AdamC, Moots)

The audience were called on stage for games. I-pod shuffle were giving out for the game winners. Me and mongmong wanted to play but the crowd were really crazy. There were youngsters, kids and even aunties!

Moots and AdamC play this every morning...wakakaka...your partner will be blindfold and help you to put on some lip colour.

Check out these two guys. They are suppose to rolled the ball from their feet up to their head without using their hands...and it ended up like that! You should see when they rolled the ball up to the middle of their body...the scene just looks so weird.

Check out this purplish auntie. She's really crazy lar. Having a very heavy makeup, purple nail colour and a striking purple bag! She was super hyper, yelling all they way like she was in her twenties.

The contestants...I realised something, the essential thing for Avril wannabes....net stockings! Almost all of them wears it!

This kiddo looks like she is only 7, but moves like an adult on stage.

Did you spot the winner? Too bad me and mongmong went back early. We didn't get to catch the other half of the show.

I met Ron there and we didn't wanna miss the chance to get some great photos with some the announcers. (ps: ron did you got the tees?? so nice hor...)

Us with hits.fm new announcer Jin. Leng chai hor...hehe~ (mongmong dun be jeolous arh..you are still the most lengchai one in my heart..hehe...)

Us with crazy JJ. He even looks goofy from the looks! hehe...

Us with Ian. He's really short lor...haha...but still a bit taller than us..hehe...Ron and Me looks weird cuz he squeeze us too hard! and I smell KFC...

Another corner of my room

Today I'm gonna reveal another puzzle from my tiny room in PJ...hehe~

FYI, I'm having the room all by myself in PJ. Better I guess, so I can throw my stuffs anywhere I want without thinking of others..hehe...

Okie...today I'm gonna show you guys my cupboard...hehe...since I'm fixing it again!

<span class=

This was my cupboard before. The zipper was spoiled thanks to my 'chor lo-ness'. So I hung a bedsheets over it too keep it dust free. Smart hor...hehe~ Well, this lasted about half a sem for me as I'm too lazy to open and cover the stupid cupboard with the sheets.

<span class=

See even the zipper head thingy were lost. I'm not sure how I did it but...I just did~ hehe~

I didn't plan to change the cupboard since it's still usable. But mong mong's mom cannot tahan. She gave me a cupboard that were used by his cousin when she were in uni. How nice of her. hehe~

It took me almost an hour to fixed the thingy. I'm not slow okay, they don't even have instructions for it. So I keep on misplaced the bars and it takes me quite some time to take the wrong ones off.

<span class=

<span class=
ooo..and I hurt my poor feet. Quite steam lor..cuz only the upper part of the skin came out.

<span class=

Okey let's see what we have here...erm...

My handy hairdryer, only used a few times when I was still in collage. I'm just too lazy to take it out!
Iron, this poor thing too has only served me for erm...twice I guess. Reason...yup...I'm just too lazy to iron my clothes.
Bedsheets and pillowcases.
Girls necessity...pads!

**Jiji's little tips 1: for a clean room = just keep everything out of sight!...hehe**

<span class=

Another every-girl-must-have item/s...bagssssssssssssss!

<span class=

Plastic bags for future usage...very good for packing stuffs back home. Especially your dirty clothes!

Fully utilize each and every compartment of your cupboard is another way of keeping things out of sight (= having a clean room!)

<span class=<span class=

One for belts and another for erm...yeah guys you've guessed it right, it's girls stuffs again...

<span class=

And another for my pathetic socks. I only have 3 off them by the way. Keep on loosing them as times goes by...

<span class=<span class=

Clothes for all occasions..hehe~

**Jiji's little tips 2: another must have item in your humid closet. A humidifier!**

I've only used this for about 1 month plus and see how humid my room is!!!
My dress grew fungus once when I didn't used it for about a month!

<span class=

<span class=

A handy box to keep all your tiny pins and hair bands away!

<span class=

Well, I have certainly no patients in cleaning up wan lor...all these stuffs ended up in the bag and placed it on top of my cupboard. Not insight = clean..haha~

Foolish act?

After 6 freaking week of classes finally I'm having my mid-term break!
Well, it's not much of a break la actually, a lot of studies to do 'cuz after that week will be one hell of a sickening time...for TESTS!!!

Recently there lots of news going on. Besides the Beijing Olympics and the war in Georgia, we have another very interesting local news. I'm not sure weather you guys notice it, 'cuz it's actually a bit stupid and mou-liu la.

The news goes like this:

Recently, an estimated 5,000 students of a local technological university staged a protest march on Tuesday after the chief minister of central Selangor suggested that the campus allow 10% of non-Bumiputras enrollment. This has become quite an issue in our country since it involves the most sensitive thingy..."races"! FYI, the institution currently only enrolls Bumiputras.

Wearing black shirts, (well, I dunno why they choose black lor actually. Just imagine, if you are going to have a riot, aren't you are suppose to wear something bright so people can spot you?! look at BERSIH...they wore yellow..) and carried banners that read 'Do not challenge Bumiputra rights,' 'Save our university' and 'The university will belong to Bumiputras forever.'

Well, don't you think that is a bit naive and stupid? I mean, if they really enroll non-bumiputras, that doesn't means that they will loose their rights or what right? Just look at other local universities, the bumiputras are still the majorities, the school management is still in their hands and we as the non-bumiputras still lives pacefully with them right?

"The university is the last bastion for Malay and bumiputra students to further their studies and there is no need to open it up to other races. If something like this is allowed to happen, then there will be a worrying situation where many Malay institutions will crumble and be 'Malaysia-nised'.

Err...if that is so why don't they just diminished the quota-based enrollment in the local universities? Since they had already given this special opportunity. Don't they know that this is one of the major reason that causes minorities to frequently resort to private colleges or studying abroad.

And there's another thing that I don't understand, the word 'Malaysia-nised'. Our country is special of it's multiracial background. I mean, since primary we've learn the word 'bersatu-padu' in Moral. The importance of unity among races is very important to bring up our country's image and economy. I mean don't they realised this?! This matter is really making things worst lor...

Insecurity really makes them look foolish...Well, maybe different people have different views towards this matter. How about you?

Okay...that's all for now...have to packed up my things and go back Malacca d...hehe~

08.08.08

08 August is a very special date for me and mong mong.

This year is even more special, 08.08.08 very auspicious huh...even the Beijing Olympic Games is on this date! hehe~

Mong mong suggested for a special dinner tonight instead of the usual gift exchanging.

We leave the house at about 6.30pm and reached 1Utama at about 7.30pm after crawling through the bumper-to-bumper jam at LDP. Very sien lor, 'cuz mong mong's car air-cond spoiled d...so he's a bit grumpy~ *sob...

Dinner tonight was at the Chili's!

Mong mong suggested TGIF at first but since Chili's seems to have more customers so....more customers = nice food = fresh food...right? hehe~

Mua...waiting for the food!!!

I'm quite tired actually, didn't really slept last night. Luckily there's television there life broadcasting the Opening of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. For those who watched the opening very "yeng" huh the drum thingy part.

We spend almost 2 hours there watching the ceremony, plus eating lar of course until we saw Malaysia's team. Aiyoyo...guess what they wear?? Bright YELLOW Baju Melaju plus songkok..for everyone!

Mong mong's food. Tortilla kiap with I guess it's chicken ham, but damn thick and melted cheese with sour cream.

Mine...forgotten it's name. But it's fried chicken with chips and corn. Not bad, but mong mong cannot tahan 'cuz it's quite spicy! hehe...

Mong mong with a tired face after cleaning up for me this morning. He did the laundry, swipe the floor, mopped the floor, clean up he's room. Thanks ya mong mong for all these! and...HAPPY 4th ANNIVERSARY my mong mong! luv ya :)

busy busy busy...working again...

I had quite a hectic weekend last week. To top up my going-to-be empty bank account, Me and Yan worked at Pikom PC fair for Sony. Our job?? Well, just plain writing!

Me and Yan were at the ground floor redemption booth on the first day. Well, frankly speaking never in my life I've taken a job that easy! We sat there almost the whole day talking and eating and of course, to show our kerajinan, we brought our notes along and did a little studying.

The crowd was crazy there. People are buying electronic stuffs like nobody's business.

One thing I like about these front desk jobs is you can meet all sorts of people. I've come across this young nerdy guy that approached my counter, this guy is really damn funny lar...our conversation in mandarin goes like this >>>

Nerdy guy : err...xiao jie....may I ask you izzit only the laptop that we buy in the PC fair will get free extended warranty arh? (FYI, my job is just to help customers fill in their warranty form...easy hor...)

Me : Yea...have you purchase ur laptop?

Nerdy guy : err...yea..I bought it yesterday but I've forgotten to fill in the warranty thing...*starting to look confused*

Me : So did you bring your receipt today?

Nerdy guy : err...no wor...then how arh? *still looking confused and giving me the looks that he was about to come to tears now!*

Me : But today is the last day of PC fair already...but never mind you can bring your receipt to Sony Center to claim for it.

Nerdy guy : But..but are you sure? cuz later if they refused to how? if they ask why how? they always treat me like that wan.. :(

Me : It's okey. For sure they'll do for you.

Nerdy guy : Sure meh? You people always cheat me wan :(

*You guys should see the look on the poor guy's face...OMG...he's really about to cry...poor thing always kena cheat by those bad people...I know I'm sounding a bit bad...but it's really damn funny!

Well, that's not all. We've come across some keh-gao customers too..haha...really funny lar~

Another good thing when working part time is you'll make new friends! Although most of the time we may forgotten each other after that...hehe~ This guy...erm...I've forgotten he's name..but Yan and I had already self-assumed he's name was Thomas earlier..so it's easier to call him that..haha~ He's the most kesian of us all, he is doing he's internship at Sony but have to help out at PC fair doing the same job as us without being paid extra. What's more worst is he have to do the paper works too. Kesian hor...

TO ALL...TODAY IS KAKAK'S BIRTHDAY!!!

~HAPPY BIRHTDAY YA er-JIE~

may all your wishes be blessed ^^
