Banana Leaf Rice @ One Utama

There goes another "food" post of mine...

Yesterday after coming down from Genting me and bb decided to have our lunch at 1U. Thus I spotted this...

Curry leaf?? curious?? hehe~ Their promotion for now is the famous Indian Banana Leaf Rice with only RM4.90!!! Yeah..the price caught my attention...and Banana Leaf Rice is just so so yummy~

Their simple yet tidy menu...a bit too simple for a restaurant like this don't you think so? (*PS: if you wanna order banana leaf rice, ask for a second menu...it's not stated in the main menu...so complicated rite?)

After some taking some blur orderings (dah abit pening with the waiter's Indian slang..hehe..but..this proves that I'm really in a Indian restaurant ma rite?...*pengsan*)...

Here comes our sauces and papadam (hope I spelled it correctly...hehe...)

Before

And here comes out meal...hehe...classy serving siap with plate summor...hehe...so diff from what we use to eat in those traditional Indian restaurant.

Lauk-pauk of the day (*PS again: do not order others besides banana leaf rice...because it's damn expensive...our sotong at the top right corner of the picture costs us RM2.60!)

Overall it's not bad, not really spicy.

We paid RM14.85 for a meal for two.

After

I wonder do they plant curry leaves??? hehe~

Location of shop:
LG One Utama, it's at the rainforest there, Kluang Station that exit.

Serving of Banana Leaf Rice:
Rice+2vege+2curry+papadam+cucumber(something like acar I guess)+yogurt(optional)...and the best part is it's Vegetarian...so for vege lovers it's your choice!

The food is amazingly good for the price...

As an Indian Visitng KL it was a belssing in disguise for me.

Its a very nice place with simple decor I saw very nicely drawn images of woman in indian attaire done with charcoal on a plain canvas.
