Muar food trip

I'm exhausted! After our makan trip to Muar yesterday night. Bb, sa-jie, aho, cheonghong and syn stop by my house for hang out session. As usual, the mahjong session were on. The night were not as long as it seems. My sis, syn and sa played till 6 in the morning!!! Me, bb, ch and aho...ended up playing uno-stacko instead.

Muar is a small town located in between Johore and Malacca. We took about an hour or so to reach cuz kinda lost our way. Hehe...the scenary on the way were nice though.

Genting in Muar??? @.@

Our first stop of the night were the roadside stalls. Just let the pictures do the talking...hehe~

Dish #1: Fried Oyster with Eggs (o-jian)
It cost us RM8 per plate, we ordered 2 but only remembered forgotten to pay the bills after we were back! haha...It's free then =.=

Dish #2: Otak-otak
Muar is famous of otak-otak and this particular stall even Media Corp Artist came by before! The Prawns Otak-otak taste nice, RM0.60 per stick. While the fish Otak-otak (erm..so so only lar...quite hard!), RM0.50 per stick.

Dish #3: Pulut Hitam with YaoChaGuai
erm..too watery...3/5..I perfer my mom's pulut hitam.

Dish #4: Chicken nuggets
Looks like uncle bob, smells like uncle bob, but it's nothing like uncle bob. Cuz it's too salty, too dry and not crispy~

Dish #5: Fried Mee with siham
We didn't order this actually, the guy just came and aho paid for it. We thought he ordered it but he didn't??? erm...the bos very pandai buat business lar =.=

Our next stop were the famous hawker center in Muar. Bentayan!

Dish #6: Bb ordered wantan mee from stall 11. And it sucks!

Dish #7: Chicken wings. Tempting eh??

Dish #8: Char siew fan. Ch and aho ordered it. Looks nice and taste? oklar according to them.

Elsa belanja-ing everyone??

Dish #9: Tasteless Tau Fu Fa I've ever had!!!

Bb having he's Ice Kacang

Dish #10: Satay. Not bad...the kuah were better!

Crowds in the hawker center. No wonder it's the most famous...with people!

Dish #11: Ch decided to order the wan tan mee from stall 9 instead. Conclusion. This taste much more nicer!

Dish #12: Otak-otak again.
Let us meet Elsa, the Otak-queen in action! She took more than 20 otak-otak that night!

Dish #13: Satay again!
We decided to compare the stalls...haha...I can only taste fats and the sweetness of the satay. Justnow that stall definately taste better!

See that women with the basket on her head? Keng huh?? She can even turn her head around without falling the basket!

At last...satisfied!

On the way back we noticed something interesting!
Have you come across this kinda number plate before?
